この度、リンデンラボに新しいCEOを迎える方針となりましたので、手短かですがこの場をお借りしてみなさんにその経緯と理由をお伝えしたいと思います。
考えるに、私がこれまでに、またこれからも、セカンドライフに対して成すべき重要な役割とは、構想と戦略と枠組設計という直接的な貢献を通じて、セカンドライフという製品、そしてリンデンラボという企業の構築に関与することです。会社が大きくなるに従い、数千人の関係従業員と何千万のSLユーザーを有する企業規模へと、会社を導きかつ補佐するための適切なチームを雇用編成し育成するように、CEOの役割も次第に変わって行くのです。この大役を担うべき素晴らしい人材を雇い入れることによって、私自身もやるべき仕事に集中出来るようになると信じています。IT業界でこれほどやり甲斐のある人材募集は滅多に無いでしょう。
役職として私の肩書きは取締役会長となりますが、依然リンデンラボにフルタイムで関与していくことになります。セカンドライフは私のライフワークですから、これから離れることはありません！製品の戦略と構想、企業としてあるべき枠組設計、そしてセカンドライフに関する良き伝達者／伝道者たるべくことに、これからは集中して行きたいと考えています。今後ともコミュニティー・メンバーとして、私というものをインワールドでご覧いただけることになるでしょう。
今回の決定は、セカンドライフがより発展して欲しいという想いによって突き動かされたもので、それは共通のニーズと私自身の情熱とに相通じる職務にも合致するのです。具体的なスケジュールは未定ですが、適材が見つかるその時までは現職を全うして行きます。
間もなくこの件に関して、より突っ込んだ議論の場をセカンドライフ内で展開して行く予定です。インワールドで私を見かけたら、いつものように気軽にこの件に付いても尋ねて下さい。

i know i have seen this, but i cannot current find a link i opologize. but there is a product that works like this. your antenna plugs into a device that then plugs into a wall outlet. then at any other wall outlet, you plug in a paired device with a filter to recieve that signal. essentially using your house wiring as the cable.
